The logged requests for a certain file sometimes contain absolute paths (e.g. "GET http://www.mysite.com/index.html") and sometimes relative paths (e.g. "GET /index.html"). To allow the grouping of these identical URLs, a function was integrated into the Webalizer GUI, which removes the preceding hostname, specified on the 'View' page of the GUI.
This is a function of the GUI and not the Webalizer itself, meaning that it doesn't work, when the Webalizer is executed via the text console.
If in addition the logfile splitter is activated, and the filtered logfile is saved to a new folder, the hostnames are also removed in this new logfile.
